The Pasadena Chalk Festival is an annual art event free and open to the public. Guests come to see artists from all over Southern California at work, spending two days on the ground, creating spectacular, detailed and colorful chalk art murals on the cement that is normally walked upon. The beauty of the event is the act of sacrifice performed by each artist, dedicating to creating their chalk mural that is later to be washed away. LA Painted Lady walked through the chalk museum, taking photos of, and with, her favorite chalk murals. |
